Hitman Episode 3: Marrakesh Review

Hitman Episode 3: Marrakesh Review
Marrakesh doesn't build upon episode 2  - 3.4/5
The latest chapter of the Hitman series sees Agent 47 head to Morocco to eliminate dodgy banker Claus Strandberg and corrupt army General Reza Zaydan.
Much like the previous two episodes, episode 3’s mission briefing is pretty intense. Marrakesh is on the verge of a revolution and a political conspiracy is unfolding thanks to an army general mounting a military coup and a Swedish banker embezzling some serious wonga. Your job is quite simple: assassinate the pair of them.

Hitman Episode 2: Sapienza Review

Hitman Episode 2 PS4 Review
Grab your sunnies! - 4/5
With interesting buildings, breathtaking ocean views and sweeping vistas, the Italian coastal town setting of Hitman Episode 2 is indeed a visual treat. Agent 47 swaps the smart attire we last saw him don at the fashion show in Paris for some casual wear as he seeks to infiltrate a villa housing two scientists responsible for a nasty DNA-targeting virus.

While the gameplay mechanisms are exactly the same as episode 1; it’s the second entry in the series that feels more like the Hitman experience that the developers are trying to portray. Although the previous instalment was an excellent introduction to the franchise for those unfamiliar with the bald-headed protagonist, it’s this latest episode that makes you want to try all the assassination techniques at your disposal.

Topping Deus Ex: Human Revolution will not be Easy

Deus Ex Mankind Divided Feature
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Set two years after the events of Human RevolutionDeus Ex: Mankind Divided sees Adam Jensen return to a series that will undoubtedly have moral compasses spinning into overdrive.

Showcasing Jensen and his augmentations in full effect, every cinematic trailer or gameplay video for Human Revolution is looking promising so far. As I sit here and watch these previews, I can't help but be overcome with nostalgia, as my mind casts back to 2011, and the feelings I had playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution on PlayStation 3.

The story of Human Revolution begins with Adam Jensen being left for dead after a terrorist attack on Sarif Industries. To survive, he undergoes life-saving operations replacing parts of his body with futuristic technology. Once equipped with his state-of-the-art augmentations, he's given a chance to seek answers and carry out revenge on those responsible for the attack that almost led to his demise. Topics such as robotics, morality and the essence of being human are all raised in Human Revolution, as Jensen gets caught up in the debate about whether transhumanism should even exist.

E3 2015: 3 Big Announcements from Sony's Press Conference

E32015 The Last Guardian Final Fantasy 7 COD 3
The Last Guardian was trailer was revealed at E3
In addition to Horizon: Zero Dawn Sony's E3 2015 game conference paraded a host of upcoming additions to its already first class roster of titles. Below we have a run through of The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

The Last Guardian

Finally, after years of development hell, Sony gave us a first glimpse PlayStation exclusive The Last Guardian. The game had originally been intended to be released on PS3 back in 2007. Director Fumito Ueda proudly sat in the audience as the trailer showcased the story of a young boy and his giant feathered friend. The setting of the adventure looked beautiful but we cannot expect anything less from the director who is responsible for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. The Last Guardian is expected to be released sometime in 2016.

Tomb Raider PS3 Review

Tomb Raider PS3 Review
Lara Croft is back! Tomb Raider PS3 review
Move over Nathan Drake! Lara Croft is back, and she’s never looked better.

Tomb Raider is one of the most iconic sagas in the last 20 years of video gaming. From 1996 and the first adventure in the self-titled Tomb Raider debuting on PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and PC, a sequel quickly followed - Tomb Raider 2 in 1997. The third instalment - Tomb Raider 3 - saw Lara cement herself among the video gaming greats. Furthermore, there have been several sequels since the original trilogy, with all staying true to the franchises' ideology that began 17 years ago.

The focus of the Tomb Raider adventures is puzzle solving, combating an array of dangerous animals, collecting artefacts and dealing with mythical creatures. The series has always been intelligent; not a mindless action-adventure that you merely button-mash your way through. As a result, it takes skill, careful planning, and dedication to achieve completion. Consequently, many games have tried implementing this kind of psyche in their own projects, but Tomb Raider has always stood out from the crowd. This is why it has become one of the most successful video game franchises today, with the original Tomb Raider contributing to the sale of over 100 million PlayStation One consoles.
